Each year in March, the University of Adelaide Careers Expo brings together a wide range of private and public sector organisations on campus to show our students and graduates -- your potential employees -- what it is that makes you an employer of choice. Our 2010 Expo, held in Bonython Hall and on the Goodman Crescent lawns on Wednesday 10th & Thursday 11th March, was a great success. Adelaide Damoah Art Discussion with Enam Gbewonyo Adelaide Damoah is a British artist of Ghanaian descent whose earlier work combined African and Western influences while highlighting social issues. After graduating with a degree in Applied Biology in 1999, Damoah went on to work in the pharmaceutical industry for six years. During this time, she was diagnosed with endometriosis after many years of chronic pain. The time she spent off sick allowed her to learn more about her passion for painting, while simultaneously, reevaluating what was most important to her.
